Alliant’s ratings and indices focus on the structural risks facing investors in 125 countries. Our political and economic risk loss database, the most comprehensive of its kind, includes more than 1,200 ratings tracking changes in global risk levels on a monthly basis since 2003.The ratings guide, published annually, includes Alliant’s ratings and indices for 65 countries and five industries. In addition, the guide includes a ranking of companies that make up the DJIA based on each company’s global risk score, a measure of each company’s unique vulnerability to industry-specific risks based on its geographic footprint. Alliant’s ratings and indices can be accessed via Bloomberg Professional (ABEM<GO>).Alliant’s ratings quantify the likelihood of specific stress events and ongoing conditions resulting in business losses at the company, industry, and country levels. Our analytics are based on quantitative risk models developed by our team, access to political and economic loss data, and intelligence from our network of government and industry sources around the world. Ratings and indices use a 100-point scale reflecting the probability of a specific risk event resulting in a business loss over five years.
