​Catastrophe Modeling Expert Jonathan Lee Joins Alliant

San Diego professional brings proven background in modeling, analytics, and portfolio management to Alliant’s underwriting division

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Jonathan Lee has joined Alliant, bringing with him a proven background in data, analytics, and portfolio management to the firm’s underwriting division. As Vice President, Catastrophe Modeling and Business Analytics, Lee will oversee the catastrophe management function for Alliant Underwriting Solutions, including portfolio management, modeling and business data analysis, process improvement, and reporting. Lee’s role further amplifies Alliant’s commitment to developing and maintaining strong carrier partnerships, while delivering quality risk selection backed by accurate and complete data analysis.

Prior to joining Alliant, Lee was Vice President and Modeling Manager with a large, Southern California-based catastrophe underwriting manager. In this role, Lee managed the reporting for dozens of domestic and international contracts, with an emphasis on earthquake, wind, and all other perils business.  He also worked directly with the underwriting team on all key portfolio movements and statistics while also providing ongoing education for the catastrophe modeling team.
