​Dan Cotuno Brings Data-Driven Approach to Alliant’s Texas Benefits Team

Houston benefits consultant to employ analytics-based benefits solutions that strengthen the bottom line

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Houston-based benefits consultant Dan Cotuno has joined Alliant. As Vice President within the company’s Employee Benefits Group, Cotuno will provide integrated, data-driven benefits to a diverse client base as Alliant continues to grow its Texas benefits team.

“Dan has the ability to meld data and analytics with long-term strategic planning, resulting in client-focused solutions that are both powerful and cost effective,” said Kevin Overbey, Senior Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director, Alliant Employee Benefits. “His unique outlook and proven experience will be a key addition to our growing team.”

Cotuno is a relationship-driven benefits specialist who strategically employs data analytics and evidence-based solutions to deliver programs that reduce insurance costs and strengthen the bottom line. He has extensive experience in business development, strategic planning, contract negotiation, and performance analysis.

Prior to joining Alliant, Cotuno was Vice President within the Houston office of a national insurance brokerage and employee benefits consultant, where he designed and implemented cost containment solutions for health and welfare programs, while also consulting clients on navigating the Affordable Care Act.
