​Alliant’s Bruce Droz and Chad Hoxie Named 2018 Power Brokers®

Alliant producers recognized by Risk & Insurance for excellence in agriculture, workers’ compensation


NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Alliant producers Bruce Droz and Chad Hoxie have joined the company’s growing list of award-winning brokerage talent, earning the lauded Power Broker® designation from Risk & Insurance. The 2018 winners joined an elite field of national insurance experts, demonstrating excellence in problem-solving, client service, and innovation.

  • Bruce Droz, Senior Vice President, is an agriculture veteran who was recognized for his ability to help clients increase coverage while reducing out-of-pocket expenditures. Based in the Fresno, CA office of Alliant, Bruce has nearly 30 years of experience helping agribusiness and food services companies navigate an ever-changing risk climate.
  • Chad Hoxie, Assistant Vice President, is a workers’ compensation expert who uses creativity and agility to help his clients obtain optimum coverage, even delivering cross-border health solutions. The San Diego, CA-based Hoxie is an energetic, service-first producer well versed in the underwriting and claims processes.

In addition to the 2018 honorees, two Alliant producers were named as Power Broker finalists: Catherine Borbone, Executive Vice President within Alliant’s Employee Benefits Group, and Senior Vice President and real estate specialist Deepa Cook.
 
The Risk & Insurance Power Broker Awards are an annual selection of the most effective and influential commercial insurance brokers. The Power Broker designation is based on nominations by brokers and risk managers and is judged based on the quality of the application and on references by risk managers in each industry sector. Hundreds of risk managers and risk executives are interviewed in the process of identifying and soliciting, evaluating, and judging the nominees.
